He’s not listening to you. He’s ignoring you. All signs there’s a communication disconnect between you and you’re husband. It’s been a topic discussed frequently in magazines, books and Opera interviews. As guys and radio professionals, David A. Dein and I can help “Get your husband to listen to you” with these 10 simple tips:
- Always take the first exit!
- Keep the target in mind and stay relevant.
- Forward Momentum. Past events are not relevant!
- No inside jokes.
- If it can’t be said over the ramp of a song it shouldn’t be said.
- On a yearly basis you should redo your target demo, call it “rebuilding Pete”.
- Remember to use different camera angles.
- Fake bickering is always OK.
- You can make the conversation more emotional by playing the theme from Contact.
- Always update your imaging! Or it gets boring!!!
By following these tips you can improve the TSL of your husband.
